CPM 2 car trading: agree on the deal first

Say whether you want cash, a car swap or a specific combination before agreeing to a CPM 2 trade. Treat a quoted resale price as an offer, not guaranteed income. If a two-for-one deal asks you to hand over one car first, you are relying on a later promise; players have reported the other party leaving.[1][2][3]

Search-index dates span February–September 2026; the listing-confusion thread displays a conflicting relative age. These reports may reflect different mobile builds. We have not traded in-game.

Car sale, swap or mixed offer?

A player complained that “not for sale” listings still produced cash offers, and that listing several cars confused people about which cars were offered and which were wanted.[1] Write those fields separately instead of leaving “for offers” to carry the whole meaning.

Your intentionExample listing — replace the placeholdersConfirm before proceeding
Cash saleSELLING: [my car + visible specs]. WANT: [cash amount]. No car swaps.Exact car and currency amount.
One-for-one swapOFFERING: [my car]. WANT: [their car]. No cash sale.Which one car each side is providing.

These are editable wording templates, not executable commands or fixed market prices. Send no account password or login code to arrange a car deal.

A claimed price is not a completed sale

In a February thread, a buyer who had paid 1 million was told the car could fetch 5–10 million, yet replied that they could not sell it for 3 million across about ten servers.[2] The useful evidence is the disagreement, not a reliable current valuation of that pictured vehicle.

For your own decision, write down the asking price, actual offers you receive and the price you would accept. Compare like-for-like visible specifications and designs. If all you have is another player’s optimistic quote, do not budget your next upgrade as though the sale has already happened. This is our decision rule, not a claim about a fixed CPM 2 market spread.

Why handing over one car first can fail

A 19 September report describes a promised i7-for-GT3RS-and-M2 arrangement. After the player sold the M2 first, the other party reportedly left, changed their name and unfriended them. The author later reported a return after community pressure; that does not make the original sequence safe or guarantee recovery for anyone else.[3]

If the proposed deal cannot exchange everything together, recognize the remaining step as trust in another player. You can decline or simplify it to a deal that does not depend on a later handover. Do not interpret moving to a private room as removing that dependency.

Before agreeing to the trade

  1. State what you are giving and receiving, including cash, cars and designs.
  2. Check the displayed details immediately before any confirmation, rather than relying only on chat.
  3. Stop if the terms change to “give me this car first, then I will send the rest.” The split-trade example shows why that matters.[3]
  4. If something goes wrong, preserve screenshots, player IDs, platform/version and the sequence. Use the game support contact listed by Steam Support — CPM 2 ↗ (external site, opens in a new tab); no recovery outcome is promised.[4]

Can I use this as a current price list?

No. The numbers above illustrate conflicting historical player claims.

Does “trade” always mean swapping cars?

Players use it differently. Spell out cash sale versus car exchange before accepting an offer.

Should I give away a car to unlock the rest of a deal?

The reported split deal is a reason to pause. No evidence here guarantees that the second handover will occur.
