Truck Trip 1: taking damage on the turn?

For damage at the same turn in Truck Trip 1, try slowing before you turn and taking the corner at about 8–10 km/h. One player who was taking damage at roughly 17 km/h confirmed that this suggestion fixed their problem. This is a reported workaround, not a verified speed limit or a complete mission walkthrough.[1]

Evidence scope: Reddit user oArnav_ confirmed ImYourLighT_’s suggestion in a post indexed 3 August 2026. The exact game build and platform were not established. Checked 16 October; not independently played on Steam or mobile.[1]

Truck Trip 1: slow down before the corner

The original poster had been stuck for about half an hour and said damage appeared at the same point without an obvious collision. ImYourLighT_ observed a turn at about 17 km/h, suggested 8–10 km/h and slower steering, and the original poster replied that this fixed it.[1]

  1. Use your failed corner as the checkpoint. Note where damage starts and the speed you are carrying into it.
  2. Brake on the approach. Aim to reach the reported 8–10 km/h range before the turn rather than trying to shed speed halfway around it.
  3. Keep the turn slow and smooth. Avoid adding a throttle burst while you are testing this change. This is our suggested way to isolate the reported variable.
  4. Check the damage indicator after the same point. If the attempt is clean, continue carefully. If not, record where and how the damage appeared instead of assuming the method cannot apply.

This comparison sheet is an editorial aid. We have not measured collision physics, trailer behavior or the exact road geometry. A slower successful attempt would support using the workaround for your run; it would not prove the cause of the damage.

If the truck still takes damage

Keep a short clip showing the approach, speed and the first damage increase. State whether the same corner fails every time and whether slowing down changed anything. A report with that comparison is more useful than “Truck Trip is broken.” For a reproducible fault, use Steam Support — CPM 2 product help ↗ (external site, opens in a new tab).[2]

Is 10 km/h the official maximum?

No. The source gives a player’s trial range, not a rule from the developer.

Will this complete the whole mission?

The evidence covers one damage-on-turn problem. It does not document every corner, timer or checkpoint.

What if my steering is stuck?

Resolve that separately with the input checks. A speed comparison is hard to interpret while the controls themselves are malfunctioning.
