Check the profile before the car
A new Steam login can leave you looking at a fresh profile rather than the mobile progress you intended to use. In OldScareCrowFriend’s thread, that is the original problem. Before linking anything, identify the profile you want to keep and check its garage and balances. Keep a record of its account identifier and progress; never share passwords in a public support post.[1]
The claim sequence players reported
- Launch the native Steam edition on PC. If you still need it, use the official CPM 2 Steam listing ↗ (external site, opens in a new tab). These reports concern the Steam reward, not a generic mobile code.
- Sign into the CPM 2 profile you intend to use. Check that the garage matches before proceeding. Creating another fresh profile is not the same as restoring your existing progress.[1]
- Open Settings → Account and inspect the Steam link. notManko and xeth-kun describe a Steam-link option in that area. Exact labels and placement can change; this site has not verified the current UI.[1]
- Check for a claim popup after relaunching. notManko also describes changing account and signing back in with the Steam option. Only use a sign-out route when you know how to recover access to the intended profile. Itz_sethy_ and xeth-kun report a delayed popup after linking; none of these reports guarantees your eligibility.[1]
- If the popup appears, read its terms before claiming. Then check which account received the vehicle. Do not assume a reward claimed on a new profile can be moved to your main profile.

Is the Lancia 037 reward still available?
We cannot confirm universal availability as of 15 October 2026. The official launch post mentions an account-linking gift, while the vehicle-specific steps and results come from players. No official universal cutoff was established from the reviewed sources. For that reason, this page does not label the offer “active” or guarantee a free car.[4][1][3]
One-time claim and transfer limits: notManko says the reward can be claimed once per Steam account and cannot be traded. Those are single-player reports, not official eligibility terms we independently verified. Do not plan an account transfer around them.[1]
What to send when it still fails
Use the CPM 2 Steam discussions ↗ (external site, opens in a new tab) to report the issue. Include the platform and game build, whether the correct garage appears, the time you linked, whether a popup/banner appeared, and a screenshot with personal identifiers redacted. State which restart/sign-in steps you already tried.
This fan site cannot grant rewards, unlink accounts or restore a save. Do not post passwords, login codes or payment details. The useful distinction is whether you have an account-association problem, a missing popup, or an eligibility question—not simply whether Steam itself is logged in.
